Indonesian Teachers’ Self-Regulation, Their Self-Concept of Competence and Satisfaction in Teaching

It has been acknowledged in the literature that a good self-concept of teachers will enable to adapt changing situations, which might result effective teaching benefit students. On contrary, negative results teachers’ burnout and inability perform well teaching. This mixed-methods study aims investigate whether teacher can be enhanced by implementation self-regulation strategies. Two research questions are formulated this study: (1) To what extent do Indonesian implement their teaching? (2) What is correlation between concept competency satisfaction In quantitative phase, sixty from different parts Indonesia participated completing an online questionnaire. The data gathered was submitted SPSS analyzed using Pearson method. showed there were positive correlations competence with r=.381 r=.372. gain deeper understanding, qualitative interviews done three teachers. resulted have highly implemented affirmed it contributed enhancement satisfaction.
